Meskipun tidak sepopuler influenza atau COVID-19, hantavirus merupakan penyakit infeksi yang perlu diwaspadai karena dapat menyebabkan gangguan serius pada paru, ginjal, hingga sistem penglihatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gavi.org\/vaccineswork\/next-pandemic\/hantavirus\">Hantavirus<\/a> merupakan kelompok virus yang ditularkan terutama melalui hewan pengerat, seperti tikus. Penularan dapat terjadi ketika seseorang menghirup partikel virus yang berasal dari urine, air liur, atau kotoran hewan pengerat yang terkontaminasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secara klinis, hantavirus dapat menyebabkan dua sindrom utama, yaitu <em>Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome<\/em> (HFRS) dan <em>Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome<\/em> (HPS). Gejala awal infeksi umumnya bersifat nonspesifik dan menyerupai gejala flu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain menyerang sistem pernapasan dan ginjal, beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa infeksi hantavirus juga dapat menimbulkan <a href=\"https:\/\/eyewiki.org\/Ocular_Manifestations_of_Hantavirus_Infection\">manifestasi okular<\/a>. Keluhan mata yang dilaporkan pada pasien hantavirus antara lain penglihatan kabur, mata merah, perdarahan konjungtiva, sensitivitas terhadap cahaya, dan perubahan refraksi sementara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segera lakukan pemeriksaan medis apabila mengalami penglihatan mendadak buram, mata merah disertai demam, nyeri pada mata, sensitif terhadap cahaya, atau gangguan penglihatan setelah paparan lingkungan dengan risiko kontaminasi tikus. Pemeriksaan dini penting untuk membantu menentukan penyebab gangguan mata serta mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hingga saat ini belum tersedia vaksin hantavirus yang digunakan secara luas secara global untuk sebagian besar jenis hantavirus. Oleh karena itu, pencegahan tetap menjadi langkah utama, seperti menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, menghindari kontak dengan kotoran tikus, menggunakan masker saat membersihkan area berdebu, dan mengendalikan populasi hewan pengerat di lingkungan sekitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pentingnya Menjaga Kesehatan Mata<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gangguan penglihatan tidak selalu berasal dari penyakit mata primer. Beberapa infeksi sistemik, termasuk hantavirus, juga dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mata dan kualitas penglihatan seseorang.
